Initially the host IP was set to 192.168.0.1 subnet of 255.255.255.0 and the gateway was set to 192.168.0.1 which is what I was told to do to get a Home network and not an unidentified network which occured when the gateway was left out.

By default, if your network adapter is set to use a static IP address but it should be using DHCP, this should fix it. However, it’s a good idea to check yourself too.

Check you LAN settings. You are connecting with the WIRED network which has the Unidentified Network. Pm the left side of the Network and Sharing Center is Change Adapter Settings. Make sure you are connected to the wireless device, doesn't seem like you are.
